FCT FOOD SECURITY IMPROVED, SAYS AUTHORITY
Federal Capital Territory, FCT has said Food Security analysis report shows a marked improvement.
This was made known by the FCT authorities, who applauded the efforts made by the government of the nation’s capital.
The report shows that number of food insecure house holds in FCT as at October 2021 was 349,876 which has reduced to 233,223, as at October 2022 the figure is 233,223, showing a reduction of 33%.
Recall that the FCT reportedly faced food security crisis, which skyrocketed in the last quota of 2022 causing food scarcity across the city.
They expressed optimism that with the support it’s getting from the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, the Administration will achieve a milestone, while calling on agencies to wake to their responsibilities
