There was a massive joint operation yesterday, the 9th of December 2022 led by the Civil Defence to recover stolen manhole covers at Dei-Dei Panteka. “We recovered 2 trucks of covers and other materials are with Civil Defence.”
Minister of the FCT, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, who flagged off the rehabilitation project on Tuesday, 8th November, in a brief ceremony at the Secretariat complex described the exercise as a milestone in the efforts by the FCTA to rehabilitate public buildings and infrastructure in the FCT.
At the flag-off ceremony held at the FCT Sports complex, Garki, FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, said that the exercise was part of strategy adopted by the federal government to cushion the effect of growing global economic recession which has adversely affected the capacities of average Nigerians to put food on their tables.
