FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, while speaking at the event organised by the FCT Social Development Secretariat stated that the significance of this occasion cannot be over emphasized considering the vital role that trees play in the sustenance of the ecosystem; keeping the climate stable, absorbing carbon dioxide, releasing oxygen, providing food, medicines and habitat to biodiversity.

COVID-19: FCT MINISTER TAKES BOOSTER SHOT
In his message to residents of the Territory after taking his booster shot on Friday 4th of February, the Minister said “I thank God Almighty that I took the first and second doses of the COVID vaccine, because on the 31st of December 2021, I was tested positive for COVID-19 and even though I was told it was mild, I know what I experienced”.
