What is an email scam?
Criminals are soliciting clients by email in an effort to illegally obtain personal information for the sole purpose of defrauding them. The email and website addresses given may appear legitimate in most cases but it is actually an attempt to trick you into supplying sensitive personal data, they will claim all kinds of situation just to get at ones personal detail account and will provide a link and or an email address that may look authentic. You will be asked to provide put personal information, Bank Account Numbers, Usernames and or Passwords, etc. This fraudulent practice is often called “Phishing” or “Spoofing.”

- Do not share your Online Access Code, Username and Password or any other login information, with anyone.
- Do not store this information on your computer. If you write your Access Code/Password down, keep them in a safe place where they will not be easily found by others.
- If you receive an email and are not sure if it is legitimate, go directly to our website (https://myfctagov.ng/) and login from there; do not click on the link provided in the email.
- Do not be intimidated by an email that suggests dire consequences if you do not provide the information immediately.
