2024 FCT BUDGET WILL REVOLUTIONIZE INFRASTRUCTURE PROVISION

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has said that the FCT’s N1.28 trillion 2024 statutory budget will revolutionize infrastructure provision in the nation’s capital.
The sites visited by the Minister include the construction of the Southern Parkway S8/S9 from Christian Centre to Ring Road I (RRI), the construction of the Vice President’s official residence as well as the completion of Road B6 and B12 and Circle Road in the central area of the city.
The FCT Minister stated this when he inspected the ongoing 7.3 kilometer Gaba-Tokulo road in Bwari Area Council, as well as the 5km temporary access road from the Outer Northern Expressway (ONEX) to the old Keffi road in AMAC, also known as Saburi road.

On his impression about the projects, Barr Wike said he was very happy with the speed and quality of work and commended the contractors. He said the contractors have also assured that the Wuye/Wuse flyover, which is 85 percent complete and the Vice President’s official residence will be ready by May this year.
