The projects are for the full scope development of the FCT Highway 105 (Kuje Road) from Airport Expressway to Kuje Junction (Stage 1), at the cost of N54,946,909,160.04 and the construction of access road and car Park for the Abuja Light Rail Gbazango Station (Lot 7) at the sum of N1,291,568,845.33.
As we commence our journey into the year 2022, I wish to begin by congratulating and commending residents of the Territory, for living up to, and exhibiting the virtues of unity, tolerance and peaceful co-existence which are the ideals on which the FCT is founded.
The Minister who was received on site by the General Manger of the Supermarket Mr Neil Pape and the Director of the FCT Fire Service, Engr Sanni Saidu, said that the fire incident brought out the best in residents of the city as they rallied round the business establishment and helped in salvaging goods which would otherwise have been lost to the fire.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has observed with dismay the attitude of our people to adopt simple measures that offer protection against being infected by the COVID-19. The current upsurge in number of COVID-19 cases is most likely being driven by the Omicron variant that is much more transmissible than the other variants.
On behalf of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, I warmly felicitate with residents of the FCT, especially the Christian faithful on the celebration of Christmas.
The assurance was given by the FCT Minister of State, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu following the monthly FCT Security Committee meeting which was held on Tuesday, 21st of December, 2021.
Malam Bello who said the Committee was God sent, directed that officers on the level of Assistant Directors from the Departments of Land Administration, Resettlement and Compensation, Mass Housing, Survey and Mapping, Development Control, Urban and Regional Planning, Legal Secretariat and the Abuja Geographic Information System (AGIS) should be assigned to work closely with the Committee to meet the mutually desired goals of the FCTA and the House of Representatives
Malam Bello made the commendation during a courtesy call to the FCTA by officials of the Council led by its National President, Dr. Gloria Laraba Shoda.
Malam Bello who stated this at the commissioning of the Cosgrove Smart Estate, Wuye, said emphasis will be placed in ensuring that estates are managed properly with greater emphasis on security and the environment.
