The FCT Minister gave the assurance when he inspected the 11km road, which is a six-lane dualization from the Airport Expressway to Kuje town junction, being executed by Arab Contractors.
The FCT Minister made this known when he received the Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Shri G. Balasubramanian, who paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
He said: “Whatever you think FCT can do for you, don’t hesitate to tell us. I will do it for you because you need support to succeed. While we are sleeping in the night, you are moving about, just to protect us. So, we need to give you the necessary support”.
The FCT Minister who conducted the flag-off exercise at the School of the Gifted in Gwagwalada Area Council in the FCT on Wednesday, March 21, 2024, said the schools to rehabilitated cut across the six Area Councils of the FCT.
He said with the establishment of the Waterpark, FCT residents will no longer have to travel out of the city and indeed out of the country to relax and have some fun, adding that the foreign exchange which would be saved will also be better utilized in other sectors of the Territory’s economy

…REITERATES FCTA’S COMMITMENT TO YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
FCT Minister, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has reiterated the commitment of the FCT Administration to partner with genuine investors for youth development in the nation’s capital.
1. His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) has approved the appointment of the Chairman and Commissioners of the FCT Civil Service Commission.
2. They are:
I. Engr. Emeka Ezeh – Chairman
II. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed – North West
III. Chief Anthony Okeah – South-South
IV. Mohammed Magaji Ibrahim – North East
V. Miskoom Alexander Naantuam – North Central
VI. Hon. Jide Jimoh – South West
VII. Barrister Martin Azubike – South East
3. Similarly, Mr. President also approved the following to fill existing vacancies in some critical agencies of the FCTA. They are:
i. Abdulkadir Zulkarfi – Coordinator Satellite Town Development Department;
ii. Chief Felix Obuah – Coordinator Abuja Metropolitan Management Council; and
iii. Oladiran Olufemi Akindele – Coordinator, Abuja Infrastructure Investment Council (AIIC).
4. Also, to strengthen the bureaucratic structure of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, Mr. President equally approved the appointment of the Head of the Civil Service and Permanent Secretaries in the FCT Civil Service.
5. Mr. Atang Udo Samuel is appointed as the Head of the Civil Service and the following as Permanent Secretaries:
I. Dr Adam Babagana – North East
II. Wanki Adamu Ibrahim – North East
III. Asmau Mukhtar – North West
IV. Dogo Aliyu Wadata Bodinga – North West
V. Olusa Olusegun – South West
VI. Adetoyi Rabiu Kolawole – South West

6. The appointments take immediate effect.
