The Mandate Secretary of the FCT Agric and Rural Development Secretariat, Malam Lawan Geidam, disclosed this while briefing journalists shortly after the FCT Executive Committee Meeting held on Monday, November 25, 2024, which was chaired by the Minister, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.
The projects inspected by the Minister include the Full Scope Development of 4km Arterial Road N5(Obafemi Awolowo Road) from Life Camp to Ring Road III, the Construction of the Arterial Road N16 (Shehu Shagari Way) from Ring Road II to Ring Road III with two interchanges and the 3km access road to the Judges Quarters in Katampe from Arterial Road N11(Ahmadu Bello Way in Mabushi), internal roads within the judges quarters as well as the ongoing construction of 40 housing units Judges Quarters in Katampe District.
The Minister stated this on Thursday, November 21, 2024 when he inspected ongoing two road projects in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT.
The projects inspected by the Minister include the rehabilitation of the 5-kilometer Dutse /Usuma Dam road, the upgrading of the War College/Army Checkpoint and other ancillary roads within the Bwari Area Council, as well as the reconstruction of the 25-kilometer Kwaita/Yebu road and the 11-kilometer Yangoji-Sukuku-Ebo road in the Kwali Area Council.
The FCT Minister disclosed in Abuja on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, when he addressed journalists shortly after he inspected the road to ascertain the structures affected by the road construction exercise for which compensation is to be paid.
